The project takes place in the beautiful Drosendorf an der Thaya - a municipality in Lower Austria close to the Czech Republic border, surrounded by forests and a river landscape. A complete circus village in the community regularly hosts circus camps for children and young people for 22 years ( www.circusluft.at). The workshops and the show of the convention will take place in the impressive 26 meter four-masted tent with around 550 m2. Moreover, through a cooperation with the Drosendorf-Zissersdorf secondary school, we have an additional training location: a large, indoor gym. The outdoor area of around 1000m2 will also be used as a training area. In addition to the campsite, the circus village includes eight traditional circus wagons with a total of 40 beds for the participants as well as a small kitchen and sanitary facilities. How to get there: The Rhizovention will be implemented as ecologically as possible, which is why we encourage participants to travel publicly, collectively or by bike. As a thank you, we are giving away a little something on site to everyone who travels to the Rhizovention in an environmentally friendly way.
By the way: we are organizing a ridesharing platform (details to follow) and a bike tour from Retz train station to Drosendorf (approx. 30km).

TIMETABLE

For the workshop blocks, you decide on a workshop (see table). In addition to the workshops, the acrobatics and physiotherapy couple Benni and Antonia will offer guided warm-ups and cool-downs. VARIETÉ SHOW

We want to offer everyone the opportunity to be on stage! In an inclusive, solidary and ecological atmosphere, we want to promote the empowerment and artistic-aesthetic development of the participants. We want to strengthen, motivate and inspire each other. We want to be brave, experiment together and put together a breathtaking variety show. Aspiring circus artists are invited to perform just as experienced artists from the independent scene.

The show will take place on September 19, 2021 at 4 p.m. Participants can take part in the show free of charge. For external guests there is a limited number of tickets for 10€. TICKETS FOR THE CONVENTION

We would like to leave it up to the participants how much they want to contribue to the convention financially. The following costs are covered by the participation fee. (Price / person):

* this contribution enables the project team to be fairly reimbursed for expenses (approx. 1/4 of the work is voluntary)
** this pays the interpreting costs for the barrier-free participation of a hard-of-hearing member of the association
*** the money will flow into an environmental project to reduce the CO2 - emissions of the event

We recommend a participation fee between 150 and 175 € and trust in your fair contribution, which you can enter on the registration site: registering The reservation confirmation will be sent by email after we receive the payment. Since there is only a limited number of tickets, registration is based on "first come, first serve".

Cancellation conditions

If the convention has to be canceled (e.g. due to Corona), the participant will receive the entire participation fee back.
When participating, you have the right to a 14-day right of withdrawal (due date: the day on which the self-assessment amount has been received in the club's account).
Thereafter, the following cancellation conditions apply:
50% reimbursement of the self-assessment amount if you cancel from day 15 (after receipt of payment)
25% reimbursement of the self-assessment amount if you cancel the convention from November 1st to 13th. September
0% refund for spontaneous cancellation without a replacement (72 hours before the convention or less)

ACCIDENT AND LIABILITY INSURANCE THROUGH CLUB MEMBERSHIP

If you become a member of the Rhizomatic Circus Association (25 € membership fee), you are entitled to our accident and liability insurance during the Rhizovention. If you would like to make use of this service, please write us an email. Otherwise we ask all participants to take care of an insurance independently. As an association, we assume no liability or responsibility for accidents and / or damage.

CORONA SECURITY MEASURES

Of course, we ensure that the event is carried out safely and develop a corona prevention program according to the latest status. We ask for your understanding that only persons with a valid recent Covid-19 test can participate at the convention or the show.

FILM & PHOTO RECORDINGS

We would like to point out that film and photo recordings will be made during the Rhizovention. These will be published offline and / or online (e.g. website, social media, etc.). If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

RESPECT THE RULES

We have a wonderful circus area with many options available - we want to deal with it responsibly and comply with the guidelines set by the community.

1. Psst! Since the area is located in a residential landscape, it is quiet from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the morning.
2. Woof! Dogs are welcome on the site, but please respect the needs of everyone else on the site. If possible, please let us know in advance whether you would like to bring a dog.
3. Camping: You are very welcome to sleep in the designated camping area, but not outside. As the surrounding forest is privately owned, camping (even with a hammock) is strictly prohibited.
4. Parking: on site there are only parking spaces for loading and unloading. If you cannot travel in an environmentally friendly way, you can park your car near the area. Please let us know in advance whether you will be arriving by car.
